The risks and complications of ACL surgery are highly variable. Below are some but not all of the potential problems.
Excess Bleeding
Infection (Deep or Superficial)
Deep Venous Thrombosis (Clot in the leg)
Scar Formation
Loss of Knee Motion
Neuroma Formation (Due to nerve damage)
Failure of the Graft (Retearing of the ligament)
Complications related to graft harvesting
